Port 9 is a newly opened resort on the island of Korčula for which we have created the brand strategy, the name of the resort and its five pavilions, restaurants and bars, as well as the slogan. Fabular has branded activities and named the children’s mascots according to the defined brand story.
Research of the island, its geography, architecture, literature, and history has revealed inspirational stories that were either hidden or forgotten. Our brand story evokes the forgotten worlds of medieval Korčula – the worlds of stonemasons, shipbuilders, fraternities and Marco Polo. Guests are invited to enter these worlds, to learn how to build medieval ships, carve stone, prepare traditional meals and listen to stories about the global travels of Marco Polo.
The brand name illustrates the number of towers that encircled the medieval port of Korčula. The visual identity is signed by studio Manasteriotti DS, while architecture and interior design is the work of Duje Kaliterna.
