Korta Katarina is a wine brand from Orebić, a picturesque town on the Pelješac peninsula, a region renowned for its exceptional wines and rich maritime heritage. A large share of its wines is exported to the United States. The story of this wine is rooted in the lives of Pelješac’s sea captains, who travelled the world yet always returned home to enjoy the fine wine in the peaceful courtyards of their family estates, known locally as korte. The name Korta derives from the Italian word cortile, meaning courtyard. Traditionally, the korta was the heart of the home, a place for gathering, quiet reflection and inspiration. Korta Katarina embodies the meeting of a region blessed with ideal conditions for winemaking and the passion, dedication, craftsmanship, and love behind every bottle.
The visual identity reflects this philosophy through an elegant aesthetic, complemented by a refined line illustration of the estate. The logo is printed on bright white, subtly textured matte paper, creating a sophisticated and timeless finish.

For the winery’s sparkling wine, we created the name Sabion, inspired by Sabioncello, the historic Italian name for the Pelješac Peninsula and Orebić. The name celebrates the region’s rich winemaking heritage and reinforces its longstanding reputation for world-class vineyards and exceptional wines.
